    Hello !
    Thank you for your comment.
I know Taki no ue (滝之上), because my friend lived there.
I frequently went out to his house.
We might have passed by each other at Taki no ue ::-D:

Hello, It has been my pleasure to view your photos as I was there in 1976-8. This is a reminder that the only constant is change. As a young person I remember my time there fondly and the people were always awesome. Wish I could play tourist someday.
    James

    Aikawa-san,
Thank you for posting these photographs. I was a teacher at Kinnick Middle School for one year (78/79) before getting transferred to Kinnick High School in Yokosuka. These photos bring back fond memories of my first year in Japan. Domo arrigato.

I lived in Nagai Heights between 66-69. My dad was Ship Repair Officer stationed at Yokosuka. I attended the school at Nagai, then Yokosuka. My sister attended Yokohama High.
Those were very good times, and I remember very fondly my time there. Ever since, I have had a soft spot in my heart for Japanese. Thank you for the pictures. I sometimes wonder about Hiloku-san (sp), she became part of our family until she got married.

    Wow!

I lived in Nagai when I first moved to Japan. Someone told me I lived in Don Knox’ old house. My older brother Bob and I along with Terri Williams- lifeguarded at the pool in summer of 81. What a cake job. Shot hoops on that old iron stand alone basketball portable when there was no “lifeguarding” to do.
